․ Letter of Invitation
We will provide you with a letter of invitation that clearly states the essential information of the event, the organizer’s details, with contact information and confirmation of your registration to attend the event at the event’s dates and location.
Before Submitting a Request for the Letter of Invitation
․ Please make sure that you have already registered as a member to attend the event and complete your payment. Request without proof of payment will not be processed.
․ Please check whether you indeed require a visa to travel to the event’s host country.
․ Please prepare your passport information to submit in the request.
․ Please check that your passport is valid for at least three months after the date of departure from Taiwan.
Visa-Exempt Entry (Foreign nationals eligible for visa-exempt entry):
Nationals of the following countries are eligible for the visa exemption program, with a duration of stay of up to 90 days: Andorra, Australia* (effective from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2018), Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras*, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan*, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia* (effective from May 21, 2018 to March 31, 2019), Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tuvalu*, the United Kingdom, the United States of America*,and Vatican City State.
Should your application be denied, the 2020 AI & Innovation committee cannot change the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor will we engage in discussion or correspondence with the Embassy on behalf of the applicant. The registration fee cannot be refunded if the VISA application of individual be denied.
