COMPUTEX 2019 Lifts Curtain Today Presenting Visions and Dynamic in the Global Tech Field
COMPUTEX 2019 kicked off today at TWTC Nanking Exhibition Hall 1. The opening ceremony was graced with the presence of Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen, Minister of Economics Affairs Shen Jong-chin, Taipei City Deputy Mayor Teng Chia-ji, Director General of the Bureau of Foreign Trade Yang Jen-ni, the Chairman of Taiwan Smart Textile Association Ray Lin and so on.
President Tsai said, "COMPUTEX is one of the most symbolic events in the global ICT industry. It has continued to lead in the technology transformation process for the past 39 years. The exhibition is like moving from science fiction to the real world. Taiwan's leading role in technology, intellectual property rights and quality talent are integrated through comprehensive international tradeshow like COMPUTEX and media platform to reveal the high momentum of the technology ecosystem."
COMPUTEX 2019 focuses on five themes, namely AI & IoT, 5G, Blockchain, Innovation & Startups, as well as Gaming & XR. A total of 1,685 exhibitors—a 10% growth from last year—gather in Taiwan to introduce their products and services in TWTC Hall 1, TICC, TWTC Nankang Exhibition Hall 1&2.
